Resolution on Iran

Resolution of the 2nd ICOR World Conference

The regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran being an oppressing regime and at the service of capitalism, has savagely trampled the workers' , womens', teachers', students', nurses', ethnic groups' and religious minorities' rights.

The valiant workers of Iran in their struggle to get back their violated rights, among others, the right to create independent workers' trade unions, have been arrested, been tortured, and been imprisoned. Thus, they have suffered most severe physical damage, and their families suffer from unprecedented poverty.

In its 2nd World Conference, ICOR declares its sympathy and its solidarity with the struggle of all oppressed and exploited masses in Iran, and demands unconditional release of imprisoned workers and all other political prisoners.
