Salute to the noble people of Jiangyou!

Chinese Communists, Xiang Guanqi,

As long as private property exists, as long as there are exploiting classes, society cannot achieve true fairness and justice. As Marx and Engels pointed out in a serious critical letter they co-signed to the leaders of the German Party in their later years: fairness and justice are nothing but empty words of the bourgeoisie. The so-called “bullying” phenomenon that occurred in Jiangyou City, where weak families and children were mistreated, once again proves this truth.

It must be recognized that the criminal acts committed against several children in this incident are merely the tip of the iceberg of China's broader social issues. In the context of capitalist restoration already taking place in China, such ugly, evil, and tragic phenomena are far from isolated—they are countless! Chinese society has already rotted to the core!

Chairman Mao emphasized: The rise of revisionism means the rise of the bourgeoisie, which will lead to the restoration of capitalism and the establishment of fascist bourgeois dictatorship. And he vividly stated: “Hitler is worse than de Gaulle.” This means that bureaucratic monopoly capitalism under fascist bourgeois dictatorship is worse than capitalism under the form of a bourgeois democratic republic. The despicable behavior of the Jiangyou Party and government leaders, as well as the Jiangyou police, in the “Jiangyou Incident” once again proves that Chairman Mao's teachings to the people of China are an irrefutable truth. Under the banner of “socialism with Chinese characteristics,” they dared to wield batons and beat the masses mercilessly, sparing neither women nor children, and even brutally shoved innocent civilians who had been forcibly arrested into vehicles and dragged them away. Chairman Mao said they would become fascists, they would become Hitlers—are their actions not precisely verifying that Chairman Mao's words are the truth?

Chairman Mao emphasized in 1968: “Whether to protect or suppress the masses is the fundamental difference between the Communist Party and the Kuomintang, between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie, and between proletarian dictatorship and bourgeois dictatorship.” The facts in Jiangyou once again tell us that today's fascist rulers, who cloak themselves in the guise of the “Communist Party,” are even worse than the Kuomintang of the past.

The practical question before us now is: faced with such facts, what should we do?

Chairman Mao's views on this matter are very clear. From the letter he wrote to Jiang Qing in 1966 to the “important instructions” he left before his death in 1976 (i.e., the Central Committee's Document No. 4 of 1976), he repeatedly stressed that if a counter-revolutionary coup were to occur in China, the broad masses of the people should raise his “certain words,” revolt, and overthrow the reactionary rule of the rightists. Moreover, he once optimistically estimated that the reactionary rule of the bourgeois rightists “will not be stable and is likely to be short-lived.”

The people of Jiangyou were effectively carrying out Chairman Mao's teachings. They did not abandon their sympathy, care, and support for the weak families and children at the bottom of society simply because they were being bullied. Bravely facing the terror of fascist bourgeois dictatorship, they marched to the municipal government and took to the streets to protest the bullying of weak families and children, demanding severe punishment for the criminals. How noble the people of Jiangyou are! How admirable they are! More importantly, how correct they are, and how in line with Chairman Mao's teachings!

All Chinese people should learn from the people of Jiangyou, extend a helping hand to them, and launch a nationwide demonstration movement in support of the people of Jiangyou, demanding severe punishment for the butchers who suppress the people.

The people of Jiangyou are currently enduring brutal suppression. If all Chinese people do not extend a helping hand to the people of Jiangyou and launch a larger-scale struggle, the people of Jiangyou may face defeat in their struggle.

Even so, the people of Jiangyou's struggle has set an example for resolving China's issues. The revolutionary principles left by the people of Jiangyou will endure forever!

Salute to the noble people of Jiangyou!

Learn from the noble people of Jiangyou!

The Jiangyou principles are the principles of socialist re-revolution. The Jiangyou principles will endure forever and shine brightly!
