The Director General of the Al AWDA Health Community Center Gaza expresses his gratitude to ICOR and its main coordinator for the Handala Mission and their solidarity – "It gives us strength, determination, and renewed resolve to remain steadfast in the face of this Zionist aggression and the genocide war"

Dear Comrade Monika,
Dears Comrades in ICOR (International Coordination Of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations),
In front of the relentless backing from the reactionary Arab regimes and the international order—dominated by Zionist influence and entirely beholden to Israeli propaganda—and in light of the failure of the international human rights system to stop Israel’s ongoing genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people in Gaza, your act of solidarity stands as a beacon of light amid the darkness.
From this grim reality emerges hope, embodied by the heroic efforts of those committed to humanitarian and international solidarity. Your bold decision to raise your voices, break the siege on Gaza, deliver symbolically aid and the choice to name the ship “Handala” and to use its iconic image holds deep significance for us. It gives us strength, determination, and renewed resolve to remain steadfast in the face of this Zionist aggression and the genocide war that aims to uproot and displace the indigenous people of Palestine for the benefit of the Zionist-American project in the region.
Here in Palestine—in Gaza, and within AWDA —we stand in deep admiration and gratitude for the courage and bravery of the heroes of the Handala ship. We echo your voices, and our hopes rise to the heavens for their safety and success. Your actions reinforce the importance of continuing the struggle and preserving the path of international solidarity. The liberation of Palestine still demands tireless effort and unwavering commitment to dismantle the machinery of Zionist colonialism in our region.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Raafat
