Information for ICOR Organizations Regarding the Asia Conference

ICOR Main Coordinator and Continental Coordinator Asia,
Information for ICOR Organizations Regarding the Asia Conference

Dear Comrades from all ICOR organizations!

Today we are pleased to announce that the series of continental conferences has been successfully launched with the Asia Conference. Participants included the organizations CPI (ML) Mass Line (India), SPB (Bangladesh), SUCI (C) (India), NCP (Mashal) (Nepal), CPC (ML) (China), SPB (M) (Bangladesh), and CPA (ML) (Australia)—some in person and some as remote participants.

In accordance with their mandate and responsibilities as members of the ICC Secretariat, Comrade Suwash and his party, the NCP (Mashal), organized the event in Nepal. This was a major organizational achievement, for which the conference expressed its heartfelt thanks.

The event took place in a very productive atmosphere marked by a culture of debate based on solidarity. Key agenda items included the continental report by the Asia Coordinator, Alik; country reports from all participating nations; the report by the Main Coordinator on the development of ICOR and its finances; and the resolutions and decisions. We are enclosing the resolutions for your reference. A highlight was the election of the new Coordination Group. It consists not only of the new and former coordinator, Alik (CPI (ML) Massline), and his deputy, Firoz (SPB). In addition, a strong Coordination Group comprising them and one representative each from the NCP (Mashal) and SUCI (C) was unanimously elected.

A key decision was the offer to ICOR and the United Front to host the three international conferences scheduled for 2028 in Asia and to assume responsibility for them.

The conference concluded with a public press conference that drew considerable interest from 54 media outlets. After Asia Coordinator Alik presented the conference’s results, the other conference participants also spoke about the significance of ICOR for their countries and the outcomes of the conference. This received significant coverage in the Nepalese media.

Thanks to the cost-effective travel arrangements of all delegations (by bus or on low-cost flights), the payment of outstanding membership dues by each organization, and the conference fee of $250 per delegation, the conference was largely self-sustaining, with a deficit of only about $1,500—a major achievement. The conference held a creative discussion on how to strengthen ICOR’s finances.

The conference greatly strengthened mutual trust and a sense of solidarity and concluded with a multilingual singing of “The Internationale.”

The task now is to build sustainable work and strengthen contact with all member organizations in Asia.

Revolutionary greetings,

Alik Chakraborty, ICOR Continental Coordinator for Asia

Monika Gärtner-Engel, ICOR Main Coordinator

Resolution of ICOR Asia Conference

ICOR Asia conference has successfully held in Nepal on 4/5 July 2026. This conference calls upon all workers and oppressed people to stand against imperialism and expansionism. To fight against this and prepare struggle of working class and oppressed masses coordination of Asian Communist and Revolutionary parties standing on the principle on working class internationalism has to be increased. ICOR Asia will try their level best so that every organisation can come together to fight against imperialist aggression,  expansionist annexation and fascistic onslaught across the countries.  Conference condemned the Indian hegemonic and big brother attitude towards neighbouring countries particularly with Bangladesh. For instance they blocked of water sharing of International rivers like Ganga, Tista; border killing and pushback bengali speaking people to Bangladesh.

For this development strengthening of ICOR activities in various contries in ASIA is urgently needed. To develop the coordination and movement that Asian conference has proposed to hold upcoming ICOR conference, united front meeting and youth conference in countries like Nepal or Bangladesh or India, whatever it is possible.

Let us Unite!

Long live ICOR!

Resolution Iran Palastine

The 2026 ICOR Asia Conference strongly condemns the attacks carried out by the USA and Zionist-fascist Israel against the Palestinian people and Iran.

The genocide in Gaza, as well as the attack on Iran in violation of international law, will not go unanswered.

Our solidarity – together with millions of people around the world – lies with the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, as well as that of the peoples of Iran.

We will implement the solidarity pact between ICOR and the Al-Awda Health Network in Gaza with even greater intensity.

Let us make all the necessary preparations to rebuild a health centre in Gaza as soon as possible – by collecting financial donations from the masses, preparing the construction work and, above all, recruiting hundreds of volunteers to work as construction workers, medical professionals, in anti-trauma work with young people and children, and, last but not least, as interpreters.

Long live international solidarity!

Freedom for Palestine; democracy, freedom and socialism for the peoples of Iran!

Resolution

The whole world is in turmoil. The capitalist and imperialist crises are setting the masses in motion. But which path will they take? Will they follow fascist propaganda? Or will they recognise that the root of the problems lies in the laws of capitalism? For only then will the view be cleared of the necessary revolutionary upheaval towards socialism.

The spontaneous mass struggles need strong Marxist-Leninist parties, their ability to win people over and their expertise in the fierce class struggles. That is why the ICOR Asia Conference declares:

Work more intensively amongst the working class as the leading force in the workplaces of the international monopolies, amongst the broad masses of workers, and in coordinating the trade unions into a powerful force. At the same time sufficient emphaesis will be given to peasant movement against the onslaught of monopoly.

Overcome the fragmentation of the revolutionary forces! Unite on a principled basis!

Strengthen the United Front movements against fascism, imperialist wars and environmental destruction!

The imperialist world system cannot solve a single problem facing humanity. Moreover as far as the imperialism exist, humanity will be in danger of war, massdestruction etc. Therefore, strengthen the forces of socialism worldwide; draw lessons from the revisionist betrayal and from all the positive and negative experiences of socialist construction to date.

Workers of all countries, oppressed masses and peoples – unite!

Forward to socialism and communism!

Long live ICOR!

Resolution about Kalapani

India has been occupying Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura since 1962. It is Nepal's integral part as per the treaty concluded in 1816 between the Government of Nepal and the British Regime rulling in then India. So we call for the withdrawal of Indian forces from the Kalapani territory of Nepal.

Resolution to unite leftist parties

We call for leftist parties of Asia to make united stance on the question of anti imperialist and fasist policies that pose dangers to the entire world in general, and to Asia particularly despite having their differences on many political and ideological questions.

Resolution about bans of Trade Unions and Students organization in Nepal

We have been seriously drawn to the attention of the Government of Nepal's decision to impose bans on Trade Unions and Student Organizations. The government's anti-worker decision on a highly sensitive issue like trade, which is connected to international human rights, is extremely reprehensible. The interference in the fundamental right of students to organize and struggle for their rights and interests clearly reflects the government's fascist policies. We urge the government to withdraw both of these decisions and express our support for the movements of Nepal's trade unions and student organizations.

Oppose US Imperialist aggression in Bangladesh and stand with Working People's movement

The United States is desperate to expand its dominance in South Asia. As part of this, it is imposing counter-tariffs and compelled it to sign various agreements including subservient trade agreements with Bangladesh. It has made an agreement with Bangladesh called the Reciprocal Trade Agreement. Through this Bangladesh's economy, sovereignty and national security will be seriously threatened.

At the same time, America is trying to take over the main seaport of Bangladesh on lease through a company called DP World.

America has been pressuring Bangladesh since 2010 to join the Quad, Indo-Pacific Strategy. At the same time, they are pressuring it to sign the GSOMIA & ACSA agreement. Through this, America wants to exchange intelligence information and use Bangladesh's seaports and airports.

Port workers and left progressive political parties, organisations and many individuals are protesting against these misdeeds.

The conference declares full support for the movement of the people of Bangladesh.

The conference also convey full supports the just movement of the rickshaw, battery rickshaw easybike workers in Bangladesh and the workers protesting at the Olympic cement factory in Barisal.
