The Central Committee of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) has called for an All India Protest Day on January 4th against the cowardly attack on Venezuela by imperialist America. Responding to the call, the Delhi State Committee of SUCI (C) held a protest today in the national capital to oppose the American assault. The protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar.The demonstration began with loud sloganeering against this heinous act of American imperialism. Addressing the protesters, the State Secretary of the party, Pran Sharma, stated that this attack is not just on Venezuela, but on the whole of Latin America, with the aim of forcing all countries in the region to bow down at gunpoint. He emphasized that America intends to plunder the resources of these nations.In this situation, all anti-imperialist, anti-war, and peace-loving people must immediately stand up against such a brutal attack. He added that standing in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and organizing a nationwide movement to force the "imperialist sharks" to retreat from Latin America is the need of the hour. The protest was also addressed by Comrades Inderjeet, Ritu Kaushik, Satish Pawar, Adrika, and Mohit Sharma.
