Solidarity with Palestine Is Not a Crime, It is the Tenderness of the People!

We, the ICOR Middle East Coordination, express our strongest solidarity with Ghassen Henchiri in Tunisia and all activists facing repression for supporting the Palestinian people. Ghassen Henchiri, during the most critical times amidst genocide, took responsibility for organizing the historic Gaza Flotillas, which set sail on behalf of humanity to break the siege on Gaza and raise the voice of the oppressed against Zionist and imperialist genocide. He faced detention and torture by Zionist forces and is now facing repression in Tunisia, with charges ranging from terrorism to illegal fundraising. These repressions serve only the interests of Zionist-imperialist aggressors and their policies of subjugating peoples worldwide. Anti-imperialist voices cannot be silenced through repression! This crackdown occurs against a backdrop of growing regional wars, including the fascist US-Israel alliance’s war against Iran and ongoing genocidal attacks in Gaza. Instead of addressing these violations of international law, the Tunisian state is intensifying their suppression of democratic rights and the anti-imperialist, anti-fascist, and pro-Palestinian freedom movement in the country.

We demand:

• The immediate release of Ghassen Henchiri and all detained activists.

• An end to repression against Palestine solidarity around the world.

• The strengthening and raising of solidarity for Palestine. Freedom for Ghassen Henchiri, and all Palestine solidarity activists.
